| First posting...hope it's not too boring
Well thought I'd finally try out Xanga, good place to read up and share thoughts and also to vent when necessary right?
Recently got out of a relationship. And boy many thoughts you can really get from this one. I met this girl from the net named Heejin, she seemed amazing and perfect. She cooked my parents dinner, my parents liked her and her parents loved me. She seemed sweet and affectionate. But then suddenly she said that she wanted to be single and wasn't ready for a relationship. She wanted me to say that I wanted to break up with her and that I can ask her out again later on. And boy if that confuses you, welcome to my hell haha!
I would later find out she actually had another boyfriend before she even started going out with me. And she said she never wanted to be with me and I was just a time-filler. And she said she based the "breakup" on rumors that I was a player. And she lied about everything from the beginning, and yet she asks me "why are you bitter about this"
Now that made me really laugh. Its sad that in this time of the world that many people base things simply on rumor rather than fact. Granted, I'll be the first to admit that yes the majority of my friends are girls, but most of them I see as just good friends and I don't even want to get into the idea of "fuck friends" hell no, I don't do that kind of stuff. But boy, it's scary that someone just go around and be like "oh he did this...she did that....oh she's such a slut...oh he's such a violent person" without even attempting to find out the facts. It's just sad.
It almost makes me scared to think that honesty is this world is seen as a "luxury" only when needed and not a necessity. I have this saying, "The Truth Hurts, but Truth Hurts More After A Lie". And yeah, sadly I am quite bitter about it all. The first thing I ask from anyone associated with me is straight-up honesty. Is it merely considered a luxury that you can get the truth now or what?
